Charleston Event Photography: YPO at the Dewberry
Thursday evening, I got to put my Charleston event photographer hat back on for one of the first times since the pandemic started, and Y'ALL, have I missed it.
I love being a corporate event photographer in Charleston, mostly because I get to meet the most interesting and lovely people but also because the venues and food are absolutely delightful. My running joke was that my memoir would someday be titled, "Tiny Plates of Food: The Reese Moore Story," because small plates and hors d'oeuvre are such a huge part of my professional life.
When YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) contacted me to photograph their Thursday night reception on the stunning rooftop of The Dewberry Hotel, I was thrilled. The 360 views of the Holy City are breathtaking, especially around sunset.
YPO is a "global leadership community of chief executives with approximately 29,000 members in more than 130 countries who are driven by the belief that the world needs better leaders." Each member of YPO has achieved significant leadership success at a young age, and YPO members improve their leadership abilities through peer learning and exceptional experiences in an inclusive community of open sharing and trust.
It was such an honor to work with this remarkable group of people on not one but two events last weekend; everyone was so warm and welcoming! Stay tuned for my favorite snaps from YPO's Saturday night event at Leon's Oyster Shed.
And if you’re new here, welcome! My husband and I divide time between Charleston, SC, and Lake Lure, NC.
I love shooting here, there, Greenville, and everywhere in between! Contact me, and let’s get your event, conference, or family session on the calendar.
