Charleston Senior Session: Alexis
I love being a Charleston photographer, partially because the Holy City is one of the most beautiful places in the South but also because every day brings a different type of shoot.
Lately, I've had a blast working with several members of the class of 2024. Senior portrait session season is in full swing in Charleston, and the Lowcountry offers no shortage of stunning backdrops for these sweet shoots - there is something so special about this time in one's life, and it's such a joy to tell that story.
Today, I'm sharing some of my favorite portraits from Alexis' senior portrait session. We picked downtown for our shoot because, well, you just can't beat the architecture, window boxes, and cobblestone streets. It lends that deeply "Charleston" feel that you can't find anywhere else.
For Alexis' senior session, we started at the corner of Meeting and Broad Streets, also known as the Four Corners of Law, and mosied our way down Meeting Street through the towering live oaks and beautiful houses of the historic district.
Alexis will be a freshman at Florida State University in the fall, so we made sure to work an outfit change into her session for some school pride! And, of course, we had to get some photos with Mom and Dad.
Congratulations, Alexis, on this exciting time in your life! The world is your oyster, and I wish you all the best on your college adventures. I hope you and your family will enjoy these photos for years to come.
