Charleston Branding Photography: Menu Shoot for Kairos Mediterranean
Eating is my favorite sport, which makes food-based branding photography one of my favorite things to shoot. It’s just icing on the cake when that branding is your favorite healthy-Greek-on-the-go spot: Kairos Mediterranean.
Kairos Mediterranean is a regional quick, clean eats franchise that's beloved for their delicious salads, addictive pitas, easy made-to-order options, and epic feta fries.
My first shoot with Kairos Mediterranean took place a year ago, just as the pandemic was firing up. Restaurants were struggling, and everyone was scrambling to develop a digital marketing strategy and move their menus online. (God bless everyone who works in hospitality or health care; what a year.)
Kairos was transitioning to an online ordering platform that was highly visual, so we needed to photograph everything on the menu - and I mean EVERYTHING. From pitas to their "Cravable Faves" and even the sides of hummus and sauces, it was all going up on that website to entice hungry patrons. We wanted a clean, light, and bright feel on that signature Kairos blue, as well as some additional styled options.
Somehow, I never got around to blogging about this back at that time. I just joined forces with Kairos again, however, to flush out some additional menu items, and I'm so happy with how everything came out! I’m also so happy to see this franchise flourishing, and I’m so grateful to the amazing staff at their West Ashley location for all their help and hospitality during this photo shoot.
The best part of this shoot was, frankly, the feta fries. They are just as delicious as they are beautiful, so go get you some. The second best part of being a Charleston branding photographer? Getting to take home the leftovers. My husband and I had Kairos for daaaays, and we were both pretty thrilled about it!
