Charleston Photographer: Ashley's 50th Birthday Weekend
The best part about being a Charleston photographer is getting to share in other people's happiest moments.
When Ashley called me looking for a birthday party photographer, I was all in. She had an amazing weekend planned for her nearest and dearest loved ones to celebrate her 50th birthday, and I was literally in the middle of planning a weekend-long celebration for my husband's 40th birthday! I love an epic birthday party, and I figured I just might learn a thing or two from Ashley's weekend-long birthday bash!
This life is so beautiful, and every moment (and birthday) is worth celebrating. Capturing that joy is the most rewarding part of my job. Ashley has such great energy, a fun-loving attitude, and an ever-ready smile, and the group of people that came together in honor of her 50th absolutely embraced and exemplified her zeal for life.
The weekend kicked off with an elegant champagne cocktail hour, a three-course meal, and live music at Hall's Signature Events space at the beautiful historic building at 5 Faber Street. The next evening was equally as fun, but a completely different vibe! The gang headed to the Pourhouse, a beloved, long-standing venue on the Charleston music scene, for a private rock show with one of Ashley's favorite bands... and y'all, what an amazing show. I really can't express exactly how much fun I had capturing everyone rocking out and celebrating this amazing woman.
