Charleston Event Photography: Beresford Hall Christmas Party
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year and there’s no better time to be a Charleston event photographer than the holidays, especially when the social committee chair of Beresford Hall Assembly needs a photographer for their annual Christmas party with Santa. Cute kids? Santa Claus? Hot chocolate? A gorgeous location? Sign me up! With extra marshmallows, please.
I will admit, though, that while looking at the outtakes of my friends’ babies meeting Santa for the first time are a highlight of my social feed this time of year, I’m thrilled as an event photographer to say it was pretty much nothing but smiles at my Beresford Hall shoot! The kids waited in line to grab photos with Santa Claus before crafting and enjoying holiday themed snacks - our hosts were clearly Pinterest pros. So many cute ideas!
At the end of the party, Santa Clause read all the little ones a Christmas story. Then it was off to the playground to burn off that sugar high!
I had such a wonderful time meeting and photographing the families of Beresford Hall Assembly, and I look forward to hopefully photographing this event again next year!
Beresford Hall Assembly is a beautiful gated community development on the banks of Beresford Creek. Located close to both downtown Charleston and Daniel Island, the Beresford Hall Assembly community offers luxury living with incredible views. The land was once part of a 950-acre land grant given to Richard Beresford on September 13, 1706. Beresford, a Barbados native, served on the Grand Council and was a member of the First Royal Assembly. Interested in learning more? You’ll find a more complete history of both the Beresford Hall Assembly and Richard Beresford himself on the Beresford Hall Assembly website here.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone!
