Myrtle Beach Family Portrait: The Mulhollands
It's summertime, and the living is easy!
This week was actually really full - which I'm so grateful for after last year's misadventures - but we still made time to take our Airstream Basecamp up to Myrtle Beach for a family session.
Kerry and Marissa are two of my husband's longtime dear friends, and I've had the pleasure of photographing their sweet girls Kiera and Violet before.
But wow, how things change in two years! Kiera is nearly as tall as her mom, and little Violet is, well, no fading Violet. These adorable girls are full of life, energy, and whimsy, and it was a pleasure to capture them just being themselves.
I've always held that the outtakes are the best takes, and this shoot proves that in spades. There is something so magical to me about getting to tell the story of a childhood summer at the beach, in all its glory and sandy mess. I hope someday when Kiera and Violet are my age, they look back on these photos and see two smart, vibrant little girls that were and still are so loved for being exactly who they are.
I hope your summer is filled with sandy toes, laughter, and the sound of crashing waves.
While we're currently in Charleston, SC, we divide time between here and Lake Lure, NC.
I love shooting here, there, Greenville, and everywhere in between! Let’s connect and get your event, conference, or family session on the calendar.
