Greenville Event Photography: Yee-Haw Re-opening
I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to photograph an event as I was to serve as the Greenville event photographer for Yee-Haw Brewing’s re-opening.
It’s been a strange year for event photographers, and I didn’t realize how much I’ve missed the energy, excitement, and hospitality of food and beverage events until Monday afternoon!
The socially-distanced re-opening of Yee-Haw Brewing was also a celebration of two new collaborations: the much-awaited arrival of Prince’s Hot Chicken to Greenville and Yee-Haw’s delicious Common Ground collaboration with Asheville’s Green Man Brewery.
Yee-Haw Brewing unveiled a fabulous outdoor area with an enormous TV, spacious seating, and a festive vibe, as well as a beautiful interior space marked by bicycle ceiling installations and massive bay doors to the outside. If you live in or are visiting Greenville soon, make sure this spot makes it onto your itinerary!
The re-opening event that I photographed was specifically for media, and we all enjoyed a flight of Yee-Haw beers with a pairing of Prince’s Hot Chicken and sides. And y’all, they do not use the word “hot” carelessly! As a lover of all things spicy, I can honestly attest that this was a glorious, face-melting tasting of the hottest chicken I’ve ever had. The chicken flight started with their savory, flavorful plain chicken and worked their way up to hot, which had me gulping down that tiny flight glass of soothing Yee-Haw Dunkel and trying to hide the fact that it literally caused me to break out into a (happy) sweat.
Cheers to Yee-Haw Brewing! Thank you for having me, and congratulations on the partnership with Prince’s Hot Chicken and Green Man Brewery. I will for sure be back when I’m not on the clock to tempt fate with another round of hot chicken - and a much larger glass of Dunkel.
Finally, I would be remiss not to give a shout out to the hardworking crew at Yee-Haw Brewing and TK Public Relations. This year has been notoriously brutal on everyone in the hospitality and event industries, and they safely pulled the re-opening off with style, grace, and a smile. Thank you.
