Corporate Event Photography: Summerville Medical Center VIP Opening

Happy flashback Friday!

I’m finally getting around to sharing some of my favorite corporate event photography from the first of the three days of events celebrating the opening of the Summerville Medical Center that I shot last fall. It was so hard to pick which images to showcase for this post and the (freshly updated!) events section of my site, and I had the best time working with the staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful.

The much awaited opening of the Summerville Medical Center kicked off with a private VIP reception and facility walk through. Guests were greeted with smiles as they began their tour of the extensive facility, stopping for gourmet snacks (including sushi!) as they made their way through the nursing rooms, operating rooms, and waiting areas, which include play areas for the children.

Highlights among the crowd were the sparkling, state of the art operating rooms and robotic surgeon, the extensive women’s unit, and the incredible neonatal intensive care unit. The Summerville Medical Center staff was happy to answer any and all questions, and the event ended with a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening.

The Summerville Medical Center, part of the Trident Health family, is a 124-bed, acute-care hospital with a 24-hour emergency room and comprehensive medical services located outside of Charleston in Summerville, South Carolina. The facility enjoys an enviable reputation for its cardiac services, pediatrics and women's services, including "home-like" birthing suites. Surgical services offered include orthopedic, reflux, robotic and weight loss surgeries. Trident Health has earned recognition as a leader in the delivery of healthcare in the Lowcountry.
