Charleston Event Photography: Bourbon n' Bubbles Restaurant Week
If there’s one thing Charleston foodies get excited about (myself included), it’s Restaurant Week South Carolina! When Bourbon n’ Bubbles called me to do some event and branding photography for their restaurant week menu, I was all about it.
If you haven’t checked it out yet, restaurant week is a great opportunity to get out of your house, your routine, or your comfort zone and try that new place downtown. Charleston area restaurants offer a special menu with multiple courses for a fixed price (though the menu is somewhat limited), making it an awesome date night option.
Obviously, I’m no stranger to this annual event!
I can now say from personal experience that Bourbon n’ Bubbles’ Grilled Portobello Mushroom with Ratatouille and Herbed Goat Cheese is a thing of beauty, and I had a great time taking some candid and staged photos in the kitchen… even if I had to chase the servers out of the kitchen and grab some of these images on the fly as they made their way to the tables!
Also, I have enormous respect for anyone working in the food and beverage industry during restaurant week, it was a flurry of near constant activity during our photoshoot and I hope everyone attending restaurant week remembers to tip their servers and bartenders well!
