Charleston Event Photography: Ashley Hall Graduation
CONGRATULATIONS to the Class of 2019! You did it!
I had the honor of sharing in the joy of the Ashley Hall graduation on Sunday on behalf of several families and it was such a gorgeous ceremony to photograph.
The graduates wore long white dresses and carried bouquets of bright red roses, making for a stunning effect visually, and received their diplomas under the ancient Magnolia trees on the historic school grounds as the sun began to set behind the historic McBee house. Really, does it get more glamorous or more “Charleston” than that? (We had to wear traditional black cap and gowns over our clothes at my own graduation in the sweltering summer heat, so I have some graduation envy here.)
At the end of their graduation ceremony, the Class of 2019 each threw one red rose in the air before hugging and congratulating their fellow new alumni and their families.
My clients and I reconvened in front of the McBee house for some candids, a few family portraits, and individual graduation portraits of the girls, who seemed to be having a blast despite the early summer heat.
Congratulations again to all the recent graduates around the Lowcountry, your adventures have just begun! I wish you all the best for your upcoming journeys.
