Greenville Family Portrait: The Munafos
Very rarely can a photographer say that a client has been with them since the very, very beginning, and I’m so proud and thrilled to say that the Allie and Peyton (and now the Munafo FAMILY) is still hangin’ with me, even all these years later.
I met Allie back when I was mostly shooting weddings in Charleston! She was a bridesmaid at a client’s wedding, then a guest at another client’s wedding. Then, a few years went by, and she got engaged to that guy with the killer dance moves, and then I got to do her and Peyton’s engagement shoot - even if he had a broken toe during our shoot.
First came the love, then came the marriage (the wedding was gorgeous; it’s still one of the favorite that I’ve shot), then came baby Raleigh and our first family session out on the Isle of Palms.
Fast-forward to today, and the Munafos are a party of four (actually six, if you include the dogs), and I still get to pop in and tell their story.
And y’all, it is a great story. It’s filled with love and laughter, adorable brothers, two rescued puppers, just the right amount of chaos, and now apparently the occasional pony.
There is no bigger compliment than return clients, but at this point, I honestly have to call them friends. (They brought me a beer for after the shoot, how about that?!)
This year, we met up at a stunning horse farm just outside Greenville for an afternoon of epic scenery, that soft, hazy autumn light, and some beautiful candid moments.
I could go on, but I think the photos speak for themselves. Allie and Peyton, it’s not only been a privilege, it’s been an absolute blast. Now, come visit me in Lake Lure!
