College of Charleston Magazine: Still Life with Croghan Family Documents

Today we're throwing it back a bit! Last spring I got the awesome opportunity to style some still lifes for the College of Charleston Magazine using antique family documents detailing Charleston historic figure Mary Croghan Ramsay, and now that the issue is out and the dust has settled on my rebranding, I'm finally sharing them! There are few things I love more than losing myself in an antique store, and picking out these vintage items was one of my favorite parts about this shoot.

The challenge was, of course, handling these incredibly delicate historic documents, but also shooting each still life in a way that would leave the art directors plenty of room to overlay text.
